U7 Wasps match report vs Ilkeston Town Panthers:

A hard fought game for the Wasps this week the first half was evenly matched with chances for both sides. A lucky goal for Ilkeston gave them a narrow lead at half time. The second half was equally competitive and the Wasps had chances to level the game through Jacob, both Harry’s and Ben, but were denied by the opposition keeper who was quick off his line and marshalled his area well - the boys have got to put those chances away!

The lads defended well, with Ben, Joseph and Ralph all putting in crucial tackles. Kieran put in a good performance in goals for the second half but was just beaten by a strong shot for Ilkeston in the last few minutes , then Harry Johnson pounced to bring it back. The Wasps put the pressure on right until the end whistle.

Hard game lads, keep up the work rate and make those chances count!
