Hornets First Match

What an opening game for the U7 youngsters who started for the Hornets today! Right from the get go the boys had control, all passing and moving very well in their positions, Hayden Evans managed to break free scoring the first goal with many more to follow.....scoring a double hat trick...and then Archie Jones also slotting in two goals for the team with assists from Ralfe Dodes and Joey Williams who both also came very close to finding the back of the net too! Theo Godden & Joseph Birkin really held up well at the back making some crucial clearances, poor old Theo especially taking a ball to the face like a champ and then carrying on like a pro ! Goalkeeper Sydney Robinson made some very good saves in goal for the first half ! A very solid performance from the youngsters overall, starting their footballing journey for Aztecs off on a real high ! Well done boys!
Recommended man of match would have to be Hayden Evans who's work rate was exceptional today!
